ABOUT ME
Juan F. Gorricho is an executive with 20+ years of experience leveraging analytics and data to drive business value. Juan currently leads data infrastructure and data transformation at (To Be Named).
Before his current role, Juan led Global Data Platforms and Governance at Visa. In this role, Gorricho was responsible for 100+ team driving data strategy, data literacy, and data use aimed at transforming Visa into a data driven company. Gorricho was also responsible for maintaining and growing key data platforms such as Global Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence Platform, Global Merchant Data, Knowledge Graph used by more than 5,000 users and which enable $1B+ annual revenue.
Prior to Visa, Juan was senior vice president of data and analytics at TSYS, where he was responsible for leading the development and implementation of TSYS’ data and analytics strategy aimed at enhancing existing and developing new data products for TSYS clients.
Before joining TSYS, Juan served as chief data and analytics officer at Partners Federal Credit Union, one of the top credit unions in the country, exclusively serving The Walt Disney Company employees, where he led the development and execution of Partners’ data strategy.
Prior to Partners, Juan led multiple multi-million dollar projects to implement business intelligence and analytical solutions for key lines of business, such as labor operations and merchandise within The Walt Disney Company Parks & Resorts segment.
Juan holds an industrial engineering degree from Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia and a Master’s of Business Administration from the Darden Graduate School of
Business Administration at the University of Virginia.
